Worship

At Westminster we believe that all of life is lived before the face of the one true God who has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ.  Fundamentally, then, we are all worshippers.  Because of this, everything we do from our vocations to our recreations, is worship.  At the same time, there is something particularly important about our Sunday worship when we come together as the body of Christ.  It is our goal that everything we do as individuals and as a corporate body are characterized by a spirit of grateful worship and we strive to reflect that in the way we worship together.  To that end we work hard each week to lead the congregation in biblical worship which:

• Stirs their affections by God’s holiness, majesty, sovereignty, and grace;
• Reflects the order, reverence, awe, and simplicity that are befitting the beauty of God’s holiness;
• Produces thanksgiving and praise that are befitting His salvation of sinners.

Worship is at the heart of our existence at Westminster and music plays a vital role.  We have adult and children choirs as well as a worship team that helps us make a joyful noise unto the Lord.  We also have an audio-visual team that lends their talents and gifts to enhance the worship experience.  Come share your talents with us as we worship God together.
